Adults
The participants will learn the OG approach to teach beginning reading including phonemic awareness, phonics, and spelling.  The OG approach is a direct, explicit, structured, systematic, cumulative and multi-sensory method that includes supportive error correction and analysis to drive instruction. Participants will create lesson plans to implement with students during the supervised practicum. This course and an additional 100 hours of practicum are required to enroll in the Intermediate course. Participants must attend all twenty two sessions. Course materials are included. Adult Early Registration is $1,000.00. Early registration ends December 30, 2020. Standard registration is $1,100.00 beginning December 31, 2020. Limited need-based scholarships are available for adults. For need-based scholarship consideration, please complete this registration followed by filling out the Scholarship Application Form located at the bottom of the right sidebar of this page. The scholarship application deadline is 12/30/20. Applicants will be notified by 1/08/21. Applicants can accept or reject their offer by 1/12/21. Remaining balance is due 1/15/21.
